So Let Me Get This Straight...
Here's an interesting tidbit on how people were taking hammers to their iPhones to see what made them tick. So not only were these people shelling out $500-$600 for this but then destroyed them? I'm hoping they were paid by some company to do this because if this is just what "kids today do" we're all doomed.

*Editorial Rant*
I kind of feel weird about these iPhones. They may be "neat" but I always wonder why we need so much technology in one place. I don't know why people need to download music to their phone - I really don't get that. I can understand needing to access the 'net if you're say a businessperson who is always on the go and need information or whatnot, but why would the average person need a $500-$600 phone that does everything like that?

Listen here, bacon girl, you need to slather on some of my SPF 50. Ya got that? Ouchie.

As for the iPhone thing - I only want certain people to have access to me. I certainly don't want to attempt to 'enjoy' music while out in public where I can't shake my ass and belt out a tune or two without someone calling the cops.

Hammers, iPhones, and idiots abound!

iphones are so over-rated!

They'll cost $200 in a year and will still be too expensive.

I heard people were taking them apart finding out what parts were being used then running out and purchasing stock in those companies...in hopes of this device to take off in sales.

have to wait and see.

I don't know, but I do know I turned out to be wrong about the ipod - thought no one needed one and now I think everyone & their brother (& 11 year old daughter needs one). Somehow I doubt the iphone will win me over quite the same way.

All I know is when Apple had their grand reveal here, people were lined up for 3 blocks to get in and be the first to get one. AY YI YI!!

Do you know how much fun we could have with $500-$600 free bucks? Shoot we could hire some cute, tight-butted fella named Juan to give us a foot massage and fetch us ice cream sodas and still have money left over for cheap mexican food and video games.

Crabby - you hit the nail on the head. At $500-$600 there's so much more you can do.

I just get a bad taste in my mouth from over-abundant-unnecessary technology.

Mmmm....ice cream sodas....
