Walk For Two

I'm walking in Relay for Life on May 2. This time last year, we knew we were pregnant, but hadn't told anyone. As we were walking we giggled and laughed and knew that next year we'd be walking with someone else.

I plan on walking the survivors' lap holding Lucas. Could there be a better testament to the miracles that cancer research have found than a survivor who has since had a baby?

If you're interested in joining us or supporting the cause - let me know in the comments area so I don't have a link to my personal info floating out in the world!

I am hereby demanding pics from the event! I have a team with my two sisters and Mom. We walk every year and have for almost 10 now. Our relay is late next month, and I can't wait. My sister's daughter, who is now 10, is a survivor after being diagnosed at 22 months. We always rock out at Relay!

I am so very happy for you. People will be crying with huge smiles on their faces when they see you walking in the Survivors' Walk with Luke!!!

BG - Absolutely. I'll try hard to remember. And kudos to your niece!! I want to try to make a tee shirt that says "Survivor Mama" on the back of it.

What size do you wear? I'll make the shirt for you! Email me, sister!

You are too much BG! I have the design in my head, it's just a matter of getting it on the shirt! And I will definitely take a photo of it for you!

Awesome! This sounds like it will be incredibly rewarding...and what a fun secret to hold last year while walking. :-)

Pants - It is rewarding. Tear-jerking like crazy, but rewarding.

Tom and I will be there to watch you and Lucas walk the survivor walk (and snap a few pictures). We're thankful we can all be there together.
