Played a short little concert today. Since I lost my cello strap I was practically chasing my cello across the floor as I played. Not so much fun. But it was nice to just play and to be appreciated.
Sometimes I love playing my cello so much that it scares me.

It's reading this short post that renews my desire to learn how to play an instrument. It wasn't possible when I was in school due to a list of curcumstances. I may just do it now.
BG - It's never too late - didn't you tell me that?? ;) I keep thinking I want to try to get piano lessons.
I would have paid to see that.
Can you make sure you do it at the show tomorrow?
Please???!!!!
I miss my cello so much that it scares me. I haven't played in a month. :(
What did you play? Was this your first post-baby gig? I have a cool endpin thingy I should find a link to send you.
It's so cool to hear that kind of passion.
I was talking to this old man the other day who was celebrating Beethoven's birthday, funny how things just remind you of the oddest moments.
Kerry - Luckily I solved the problem by snagging some mat from the sound people so I won't be chasing my cello during the show!
Melissa!! - So glad you're here! I subbed in on "Annie" about a month after Luke was born. And I've done little things here and there since. I had one of those endpin straps, but it got misplaced by the theatre people, so I have to get a new one. I always lose my endpin things. I really need to start practicing and boning up - I'm thinking of starting a second degree in music.
Jay - Hey party girl! Glad you stopped by! I celebrate Gershwin's birthday, so I understand. And thanks - I have discovered that my passion for music is greater than I had ever thought.
